Trichomaglin, a novel ribosome-inactivating protein, has been isolated from root tuber of a plant Maganlin (Trichosanthes Lepiniate, Cucurbitaceae). The isolation and purification procedure included ammonium sulfate precipitation, Sephadex G-75 chromatography and CM-Sephadex C-50 chromatography.
